Silas Chinsen is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer based in Guelph, Ontario. He completed his B.Mus and M.Mus on full scholarship at the University of Ottawa graduating Summa Cum Laude. He studied classical guitar and voice performance, and was twice the recipient of the Ed Honeywell Guitar Award. Silas performs both traditional classical repertoire, as well as original music and covers of popular music using a unique combination of vocal synthesizer, multiple instruments, and live looping. Silas is proficient on guitar, voice, keyboard, bass, ukulele, and trumpet, with experience performing pop, rock, jazz, mo-town, indie, and neo-soul styles.
